Clear Ceramic Braces

Clear braces are aesthetic alternatives to the more visible metal braces but serves the same purpose. Usually made from ceramic materials, clear ceramic braces are less conspicuous thus making it perfect for patients who are more concerned about the aesthetic aspect.

The brackets are made from clear ceramic materials and function very similarly to its metal counterpart.

Because of the materials used in clear braces, they get more friction and tend to be more brittle than metal braces. Our orthodontist will teach you how to keep your ceramic braces in good condition.

While ceramic braces don’t stain the teeth and pose according to the color of your teeth, the clear alastics holding the archwire in place do stain overtime. So, if you want to keep them in pristine translucent condition, we suggest avoid drinking too much coffee, tea, dark liquids or smoking too much.
